Berries and Cream is a cream blush made completely from up-cycled fruits to create beautiful pigments in the most sustainable fashion. Using Kaiku Living Color system which is the idea of using rotted fruits or vegetables to produce color pigment. This is done by breaking the fruits down and vaporizing them to make a powder.

One third of food consumed in the United States is wasted and sent to land fills to rot, developing a color complex made from rotted veggies or fruits would help eliminate food waste and help our planet! I chose Glossier as the brand to launch this new product under because currently their liquid cloud paint is one of their top selling products and I believe they could benefit from a more sustainable blush that also raises awareness to food waste!
